Zoom Instructions Place the mouse cursor (or tap) on the image. Click or tap on the double-headed arrow in the row of four icons that appears at top left to expand the image to the full size of your screen. Use the (+) and (-) buttons or the mouse scroll wheel (or pinch and zoom) to zoom in or out. When zoomed in, you can scroll around the image by left-clicking and dragging (or single-finger drag). The "Home" icon quickly returns you to "fit on screen" mode.

Lynds Dark Nebula 1333 This is a small portion of the Taurus Molecular Cloud, a vast expanse of dust and gas in the constellations Taurus, Aries and Perseus. The dust shows up in various shades of brown. The bluish areas are where the dust is reflecting starlight towards us, just as the dust reflecting sunlight in our own atmosphere makes the sky look blue.
